Paris and Letterman

Not sure why Paris Hilton would ever agree to go back on the David Letterman show, after she was so verbally beat up by him on her last appearance, fresh out of jail. He really badgered her about that and the poor thing just stammered and stuttered and fought to keep her composure. She was supposed to be promoting the release of her new perfume, but the conversation never really got headed in that direction.

Tonight he was much more hospitable, and she was plugging a new “reality” show based on her living with a group of commoners who all have hopes of becoming Paris’ new “best friend.” There was also some discussion of her new boyfriend, a heavily tattoed singer in a grunge rock band.

Interesting to see how her life has changed, but one wonders if it’s even for the better?

Red Wings Slapped the Stars

Round 1 of the NHL’s western conference finals was won tonight by the Red Wings. The game was almost a shut out, but Brenden Morrow scored with under a minute left in regulation to make the score 4-1.

This game was a real test of two power goalies, Marty Turco for the Stars nd Chris Osgood for Detroit. However, two of the Red Wing’s goals were scored on power plays, so the goalie can’t take the blame for them - the rest of the Stars team has to share some of that blame.

The next game is Saturday night at the Joe Louis Arena. I’ll be watching and if I was a betting man, I’d pick the Red Wings again.

My view of the new View

Every once and awhile I will be going thru video clips online and come across this show that runs on ABC called the View. on the show there is this young attractive looking blonde headed girl that is a hard core Republican and it cracks me up to hear her talk about life because she has no idea what she is talking about.

She always tries to defend President Bush or now Republican Presidential Nominee John McCain on the show and ends up making them look even worse in the publics eye, in my opinion because she touts the same one liners the Republicans do when it comes to defending the actions of the administration and Republicans over the last 8 years.

And as many of us know and many will soon find out what has happened to America over the last 8 years has still not yet been found out by most Americans. Many Americans await to have there freedoms and rights back that were taken away by this administration and prior Republican controlled Congress and Senate.

Of course i look forward to the day when they replace the little blonde bimbo with someone that has a brain and can make up her own one liners but I doubt that day will ever come but i can always hope can I not.

Every day I get to sit back and watch my favorite two television stars give the daily dish about life, watching Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert give the comic version of what is going on in our World makes me very happy and will probably give you a laugh or two as well. If you have not had the pleasure of watching these two give there performances every night then you should tune in and check out what I am talking about for yourself because they rock.

First there is The Daily Show staring Jon Stewart and the second show is call the Colbert Nation formally the Colbert Report starring Stephen Colbert. Both are my favorite daily shows to watch because they are filled with humor and make me smile, so now that you know my favorite shows what are yours and why?
